Arrowtown

Arrowtown: Today we went to Arrowtown and visited the Lakes District Museum. We done a role play where we dressed up in the clothes you wore in the 1880’s. Then we went in the classroom with the strict teacher who’s name was Miss Gray. She yelled at us, we couldn’t ask questions and we got the cane. After that we went to the bakery and had lunch. After Lunch we went back to the Museum and looked around. Then we were shown around the town and got told about the little cottages and the big gold rush. Then we visited the Chinese village. It was filled with old cottages. After, we went to the river and we went gold panning. A Lot of us got gold but some kids were out of luck. I got three pieces of gold. Then we went back to Pinewood Lodge.
